Baffle U strip Ceiling


What is a Baffle U strip Ceiling?

The Baffle U strip ceiling is a liner type ceiling, in which we used a U strip panel on the alternative space and hang those in the ceiling with the help of a U strip carrier.

Baffle U strip ceiling concept:

Sometimes project requirement is the only lavish, beautiful look along with some acoustic properties. On those place ceiling presentation as royal, exclusive, beautiful get most important. So, keep those requirements in the mind, a new type of ceiling get developed as a name of Baffle U strip ceiling.

Advantages:

Acoustic Properties:

In the baffled ceiling, panels installed at an alternative space in the perpendicular direction, those panels just distract sound waves and create a sufficient acoustic environment from the ceiling side.

If you need more acoustic properties you may go with perforated panels. For acoustic properties basically use punching in the panels which are called perforation. The standard diameter of the punching hole is 1.8mm and 2.5mm. Those days many types of punching available like square, rectangular, and people with the help of punching creating different designs also on panels. After perforation to improve more acoustic property, paste non-woven acoustic fleece inside the panels. These perforated panels absorb and district both do with sound waves and create acoustic environments.

Insulation Properties:

Due to the absence of a plenum between the main and false ceiling in the baffle false ceiling, it not provide and insulation from the ceiling side.
If you need insulation, then you can use glass wool or rock wool inside panels, but it will be a costly one.

Design:

The baffle ceiling has many possibilities to create a new design:
1. Heights of Panels:
To create the design, we can choose different height panels for a single place, Ex.  in the area of 1 sqm, we decide the width of panel 50 and center to center gap in panel 150mm. Then we can choose panel as 
200mm,175mm,150mm,125mm,100mm,75mm, 50mm. we can install those a straight or alternative pattern.

2. Different Color Pattern:
you may make pattern on the basises of different color combination.

3.Create Figuer:
you may create different figure like ovel, square, trangle with the help of baffle panels.

4.Wooden finsed Coating:

How to select the gap between two baffles panels?

The standard rule to select gap between two baffle is, just keep gap between two baffle equal to the height of baffle, reason behind of that, when a person enter in a room and see just ceiling side,his eyes just look at 45 degree of angle.On this angle if baffele height and gap get equal then main ceiling visiablty just hidden for him.
But some people suggest to get equal with baffle exposed width.
Our suggestion is just go with first rule.

Sizes:

The standard size of baffle height 100mm, width 50mm and center to center gap is 150mm. but we may go with other specification also according project requirement. The lenght of baffle you can have 6000mm in white coil coated color, but if you go with some other color or wooden finish maximum lenght possibly is 1000mm.

Installation:

The standard baffle ceiling may install in two way:-
1. Wall to Wall:- In this we start baffle from one wall and end it on opposite wall, if baffle lenght get short then use jointer and increase the length.
2. On Altenative Lenght:- In this we start baffle a specific gap from wall like 50mm or 100mm, after use full available lenght of baffle leave same gap as start I did, then install 2nd baffle. this process we do till the reach of opposite wall.
 Our suggestion use on alternative lenght method, in this baffles feels totally in air, looks very beautiful. Thats method also solve the baffle lenght problem, because when we use jointer there looks the hairgap.

84R/84F Metal False Ceiling

What is R Strip Ceiling?

R strip ceiling is a Liner ceiling with round edge panels. The panels are 84mm in width and can have lengths up to 6000mm. In the liner system when we install its looks 84mm in width along with a 16mm gap. So one panel in width covers a total of 100mm space.

What the difference between the 84R and 84F ceiling?

In the 84R ceiling, we leave a 16mm empty gap along with the panel.

In the 84F ceiling, we fill a 16mm gap with the help of a flush profile. So, the full area gets covered, and the plenum develops between the main ceiling and the false ceiling.

Acoustic Properties:-

84R has very good acoustic properties, cause there is a gap between the two panels, so it district and absorb sound waves. if you need more may use a perforated panel with acoustic fleece backside.
84F is a closed ceiling system due to a flush profile, so here for acoustic properties, we have to use the perforated panel with acoustic fleece backside.

Insulation:-

In 84R Ceiling, we may use glass wool pads on the backside of panels to improve insulation properties.84F has good insulation properties due to the plenum between the main ceiling and false ceiling, you may also increase it with the use of glass wool pads on the backside of panels.

Design:-

R strip ceiling looks beautiful due to the linear design of the panel with a 16mm draw line. Here you may use different color panels on an alternative number to make a design impact.

Where should install R Strip Ceiling?

You may install it anywhere R Strip Ceiling, just keep in mind, if you need hygienic properties to go with 84F Ceiling like Restaurant, Cafeteria, Kichan, etc. All other places like the supermarket, office, a public place you may go with 84R.

How select R Strip Ceiling color?

The best color for a false ceiling always white, because it reflects light about 70%, But if you like to go with others you may keep match with your window & doors colors. If you are going with 84R keep contrast with the main ceiling color, it gives a good impact.

Installation:-

1. Always keep Edge Profile at the same height on all sides.
2.Install carrier at the space of 1.0-1.2 meter, if the area is small put at least 2 carrier lengths in installation.
3.Always use a suspension rod/angel with a suspension clip.
4.Suspension Rod should be installed at a 1-1.2 meter distance.
5.Panels should be fixed in the carrier properly with the soft hand at 90 degrees of the carrier.
6.Always wear gloves at the time of installation.
7. Do properly clean panel before installation, if safety guard film is there peel off before installation and check for any stain or spots.

Open Cell Grill Ceiling


What Is Open Cell Grill Ceiling?

Basically, it is a simple lay-in ceiling with a different type of tile in size 595mm x 595mm. This tile called an open-cell tile is prepare on an interlocking strip system, in this system get two types of the strip in the size of 595mm x 15mm x 42/50mm, one called male strip and second female strip. These strips interlock at 90degree to each other in a pattern one by one according to develop cell size as 75mm x 75mm, 100mm x 100mm, or 150mm x 150mm. Many cell size is possible here, I mention here only which is in trends and easily available.

In an open-cell ceiling system, we use a 15mm Tee grid system for framing. With the help of a 15mm tee grid system prepare boxes of 600mm x 600mm and lay open-cell tiles in those. As grid exposed width from bottom 15mm and open-cell tile strip exposed width from the bottom also 15mm, after installation tee grid runners and wall angel visibility just hide in similarity and look comes from the bottom as the whole false ceiling is in a single piece and its look marvelous.

Where should install Open-Cell Grill Ceiling?

To find out that answer, first to understand the basic qualities of an Open Cell Grill Ceiling. The first one acoustic, the Open Cell Grill ceiling has high acoustic properties due to continuous angles and high dimensional structure. Open Cell Grill Ceiling distract the sound frequency and do not allow to run those in parallel to each other.

As many possibilities of cell size in Open Cell Grid Ceiling, you may decide on the basis of area size. We suggest if the area is big in size like 1000sqmtr, you should go for a small cell size like 75mm x75mm,  If an area is a medium-size like 100sqmtr, you should go for a medium cell size like 100mm x 100mm, If an area is a small -size like less then 100sqmtr, you should go for a big cell size like 150mm x150mm.

Here the concept is that small cell size gives a compact look to the big area, and big cell size gives the losses look to a small area.

How to decide Tee Grid type in Open Cell Grid Ceiling?

If you go for a 24mm tee grid or a different color from Open Cell Tile it will just break the symmetric of one piece whole ceiling and there will look  600mm x 600 mm separate boxes of tiles. 

Here tee grid thickness also very important for stable structure, cause open-cell tile weight is a little more than ordinary lay in tile. We suggest minimum go for .25mm thickness for the tee grid. If the cell size small like 75mm x75mm and the area big our suggestion go for .28 thickness, if the cell size big like 150mm x150mm you may go for .23mm thick but our suggestion minimum.25mm thick.

Louver-Metal False Ceiling

What is Louver Ceiling?

Louver Ceiling is very similar to baffle ceiling. In Louver Ceiling we use a plain strip at the place of the baffle. That strip may be straight or with a light curve. Here we used threaded wire from the main ceiling with the help of a fastener and attach the main channel with a suspension clip. We attach here louver carrier with the help of a carrier clip along with the main channel. That's Louver Carrier holds the Louver strip and gives a dynamic look to the false ceiling.

Advantages:

Acoustic Properties:

Insulation Properties:

Louver Ceiling has no insulation property, due to the absence of a plenum. If need insulation can use glass wool at the back of the louver strip, but it is a costly process. So, we recommend not to use Louver Ceiling where have the requirement of insulation.

How to select the size of the Louver Strip?

The standard size of the louver strip is 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm in height. It may be with a notch of size 20mm/25mm/30mm or without a notch in the bottom. We recommend keeping the notch because it helps to reflect light properly, increases acoustic property, and give a good impact on design. As the area is big you must use big height in the louver strip, if the area is small use small height.

How to select the gap between two Louver Strip?

The standard rules for that just keep the gap between two louver strips equal to the height of the louver strip. For example: if the louver strip height 100mm, the gap should be 100mm, if the louver strip height 150mm, the gap should be 150mm, etc...
The concept behind that when a person enters an area, and see the ceiling side, he just looks at a 45degree angle, if our strip and gap side get equal then the main ceiling visibility just gone out and just look false ceiling to him.

How to select the color of the Louver Strip?

As we say always white is the best color for a false ceiling, because it reflects light up to 70%. In the case of the Louver Ceiling, it should be on both sides of the strip front and back. If you like other colors try to match with doors and windows color and contrast with the main ceiling color.

Installation:

Before installation, we have to understand the limitation of louver strip length availabilities. if we go for the white color in the louver ceiling, there is no problem with the length of the louver strip, because we can go maximum to use coil coated.
But if we except white color we have to go with powder coating; in powder coating, we can go up to 5.5mtr in length.
We can do the installation in two ways:-
1. Wall to the wall.:
Wall-to-wall installation simply just starts from one wall to the opposite wall, between those to continue louver strip use jointer.
2. On the alternative Gap:
In this, we leave a small gap like 50mm,100mm from starting wall, install a specific length louver strip after that again same as the start, and continue till opposite wall.
Our suggestion best length size 3mtr for the louver strip and you must go with the second option, it looks all system in air and the impact looks beautiful.

What is Lay-In Metal False Ceiling System?

Lay-in false system is base on visible structure frame with some specific size of tile. In this system, we prepare a frame with the help of a tee grid system, which gets fully visible from the bottom. We prepare the frame box size according to the Lay-in tile size, it could be 595mmx595mm, 595mm x1195mm, etc. We just lay the tile in this box and lay-in false ceiling system ready.

Advantages

Sizes:

Lay-in tile mostly uses in 595mm x595mm size, but you can use also some other size as the width you may take- 295mm, 595mm,895mm, and length 295mm,595mm,895mm,1195mm. If more than that you go there comes the alignment problem. Here material thickness also plays a measure role in a different size.

How to select the thickness of the material?

Lay-in tile basically made in three types of material-

Inter Locking 150F/200F/Petrol Pump/Canopy Metal False Ceiling



What is Interlocking False Ceiling?

The Interlocking Ceiling is a type of linear ceiling in which we use 150mm or 200mm wide and 17mm deep interlocking panels up to a maximum of 6000mm in length.

Interlocking Ceiling Concept:

Interlocking Ceiling just develops keep the wind pressure in the mind. In Pre Structured Building, Petrol pump Canopy, Porta Cabin, On construction site offices false ceilings also have to face wind pressure. So, just keep this in the mind develop panels that will be properly interlocked with each other, and in the case of little high air pressure must be stable. Due to these qualities, the interlocking ceiling becomes the right choice of exterior and interior building, where is the problem of wind pressure. Petrol Pump Canopy  & Pre-Structured Buildings always uses interlocking Ceiling 150F.

Advantages:

Only one disadvantage in the case of interlocking, if ever we have to open it to enter in plenum then we have to uninstall it from starting point due to interlocked panels with each other. So, in the case of any repairing to reach the repair point, it will be uninstalled from starting point.

Acoustic Properties:

If you need acoustic properties in Interlocking Ceiling, you can use perforated 150F/200F panels with the back of acoustic fleece.

Insulation Properties:

The interlocking Ceiling is a closed liner ceiling, its plenum is well sufficient for insulation. But if you and your project requirement are more, then you can use glass wool or rock wool pads on the backside of panels.

Design:

In the interlocking ceiling, we may create the design with the help of different colors of panels. As a particular color repeats after a certain number of panels or at an alternative position.

Best Places to Installed Interlocking Ceiling?
