What is Alpha Ceiling?

Alpha Ceiling basically a combination of hook on ceiling & 300c ceiling system. In Alpha Ceiling we used a beam of different widths according to site requirement and create a box with the help of beam, that box may be square, rectangular, or linear according to customer choice, and site requirement. After creating a box, we make a section of metal to fill it and fix it in the box according to the hook on, that section may be plain or perforated according to project requirement.

Alpha Ceiling Concept:-

Alpha ceiling basically develops for a big area like 15mtr x15mtr and more than that. The concept behind that, if in the big area we go for 600mm x 600mm ceiling system as tee grid or clip in, those do not provide a royal look and area look so congested.

How select section and beam size in Alpha Ceiling?

Here we have to choose a beam placement center to center how far they should be to get the full impact of the Alpha ceiling? just keep in mind beam should be started at just the start of the length and width of the area. In Alpha Ceiling we can keep beam width 4inch, 6inch, 8inch, 10inch, or 12inch and length may go up to 6mtr after 6mtr here have to use beam jointer to continue the length. A joint may be shown as a small hairline if the false ceiling height is low.

For the section size, we can choose square, rectangular, or liner types. The section width may go up to 1mtr and the length you can keep up to 3mtr.

Our suggestion here, you must select the size according to your project area, as we keep three categories based on areas for Alpha Ceiling:-

How select the thickness of the material in the Alpha Ceiling?

For Alpha Ceiling, basically, we use two type of metal:-

1.Gelavinize Iron

2.Aluminum

The thickness of we should decide based on section area size. For the big section high thickness and for small low thickness. Our suggestion for that:-

How select color of Alpha Ceiling?

We always recommend white color for false ceiling, because white color reflects light maximum of up to 70%, and in any project area ceiling always the main source of reflecting the light.

But you wanna go with another color, try to match your doors and window color, it gives nice look to the area or you may use beam and section color in the best possible combination to create a design.

Acoustic Properties:

For acoustic properties, you must use the perforated panel with back acoustic fleece.

Insulation Properties:

Alpha ceiling creates a plenum between the main and false ceiling, that plenum works great as an insulator. If you need more you put glass wool pads on the back of the section according to your requirement.

Design:

Alpha ceiling gives a royal, beautiful, nice, neat, and clean look. Here are many possibilities to create the design with help of the color combination and to use different size and shape of beam and section.
