Hook on -Metal False Ceiling

What is Hook On Ceiling?

As by name seems, there must be a ceiling related to the hook. In hook on the ceiling, we use a square or rectangular hook on tiles and just hook those into a hook on profile.

Hook On Ceiling Concept:

Sometimes on some projects there comes the requirement of thicker and some specific size tiles like 1.2mm thickness 900mm x 3000mm. That size was not possible with lay-in due to their tile size and nor possible with clip-in due to the thickness of the material, cause clip-in profile only suitable for maximum .8mm thickness. So, here was required a new system, then the Hook-On system got developed.

Advantages:

1. Big scope to create many designs with the help of different alignment, color & combination options.
2. High durability.
3. A wide option of acoustic properties.
4. Ease Access of plenum, no special tool required.
5. Freedom to choose the different sizes of panels.
6.Freedom to use any thickness panels or tiles.

Acoustic Properties:

For acoustic properties basically use punching in the tile or panels which is called perforation. The standard diameter of the punching hole is 1.8mm and 2.5mm. Those days many types of punching available like square, rectangular, and people with the help of punching creating different designs also on tiles. After perforation to improve more acoustic property, paste non-woven acoustic fleece backside of the tile. These perforated tiles or panels absorb and district both do with sound waves and create acoustic environments.

Insulation Properties:

Hook- on the false ceiling is a closed type ceiling, so it creates a plenum between the main and false ceiling. That's plenum work as an insulator in-ceiling and controls the temperature of the environment. If the project has more requirements of insulation, you may use glass wool or rock wool pads back of the tiles or panels.

Design:

The alignment is the most strong feature of the Hook-On ceiling. Any size or any thickness panels you may use without any worry of alignment, it always will be perfect with a hook-on system. You may also create much design by choosing different alignments, color combinations, and sizes of tiles or panels.

Sizes:

Hook-On ceiling you have the freedom to use any size tiles or panels. But in the market most available maximum width is 1000mm and length you may go up to 3000mm.

How to select the thickness of the material?

Here is you have full freedom to use any thickness, just keep in mind as panel size is big, the thickness should be more.

Best Places to Install?

The hook-on system is a fully closed system,  it becomes a fully hygienic solution from the ceiling side. That's why it becomes the right choice for the places where hygienic important like kitchens, pantries, operation theaters, pharma units, etc.

Operation theatres mostly use stainless steel hook-on ceiling systems due to the magnetic wave interface.

It may be used in bank, hall, exhibition hall, showrooms, vacant hall, factory, lobby, mall, stadium, cafeteria, restaurant, hotels, etc.
